We never want finances to hold our patients back from getting the dental care they need and deserve. We provide flexible paying option to spread the cost of your dental treatment over a 3 to 24 month period, instead of paying a large sum all at once. We’re always happy to work with you to create a plan that will allow you to get the treatment you need while staying within your budget. The following are few of the dental benefits plan offered by federal and provincial governments, available for Ontario residents.

Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program is a government-funded dental care program. It provides free, routine dental services for low-income seniors who are 65 years of age or older.

Coverage includes:

  • check-ups, scaling, fluoride and polishing
  • repairing broken teeth and cavities
  • X-rays
  • removing teeth or abnormal tissue (oral surgery)
  • anesthesia
  • treating infection and pain (endodontic services)
  • treating gum conditions and diseases (periodontal services)
  • dentures

Financial assistance for Children dental care: Dental care is available for eligible Ontario children and youth 17 or younger. http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/pro/programs/dental/ .

The Ontario Cleft Lip and Palate/Craniofacial Dental Program: To assist families of children and young adults who must cope with the expense of specialized dental treatment, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care provides funding for The Ontario Cleft Lip and Palate/Craniofacial Dental Program, managed by the Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health. This program provides financial assistance for the specialized dental needs of affected individuals.

Non-Insured Health benefits for first nations and Inuit:

The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) covers certain emergency dental services for refugees coming to Canada for resettlement. IFHP dental coverage provides coverage for emergency care for dental conditions involving pain, infection or trauma.
